How it works
How it works.
- 1
Connect your repo.
Docdrift compares what your landing page and public docs claim with what's in the code.
- 2
Publish if you want.
Verified is private by default. Only the Owner can publish it.
- 3
Add the badge.
Put the live badge in your README or landing page. It links to your public page.
Your rules
You stay in control.
- Private by default.
- Only the Owner can publish.
- Make private in one click turns off the page and the badge within seconds.
- We publish how each metric is checked, how it could be gamed and what would catch it.
- The page is reachable only with its link and isn't indexed.
The badge
Light or dark, live.
The badge is live: it updates as your project does. Every badge links to your public page, and your public page shows how to get your own.
Questions

Can I fake my numbers?
It only publishes what Docdrift checks and you can't edit. Uptime is the one number you provide, and it's marked Declared.
Is my code public?
No. The page shows counts and dates, not your code. It's private until the Owner publishes it.
